山西机电职业技术学院简介

山西机电职业技术学院创建于1958年,是山西省人民政府主办、山西省教育厅直属的全日制普通高职院校,是山西省首批示范性高职院校,山西省高职高专人才培养工作优秀单位,山西省职业教育先进单位,山西省文明单位。学院是教育部确定的全国现代学徒制试点高职院校,山西省唯一拥有“全国高校黄大年式教学团队”的高职院校,山西省优质高职院校建设单位。2019年11月学院荣膺“2019亚太职业院校影响力50强”,12月入选国家“双高计划”建设单位

校园环境与基础设施

学院座落在全国十大魅力城市之一的上党古城——长治市,由主校区、东湖校区、易通环能校区和西门子实训中心校区组成,占地面积37.33万平方米,校舍建筑面积12.15万平方米。现有固定资产总值2.3亿元,校内建有8大专业实训中心,教学仪器设备值8158万元,校外校企合作型“科研、实习、就业基地”300余个。图书馆藏书41万余册,运动场地1.8万余平方米。学院面向全国招生,有来自26个省(自治区、直辖市)11个民族的在校专科生8300余人。

系部设置与专业布局

设有机械工程系、数控工程系、电气工程系、汽车工程系、信息工程系、材料工程系、经贸管理系、基础部、思政部、体育与艺术教学部、实训教学部等11个教学系部。现开设数控技术、机械制造与自动化等50个专业(含专业方向),其中13个专业直接服务《中国制造2025 》十大重点领域的八大领域, 5个专业直接服务山西省“十三五”规划主导产业和新兴“九大产业”的四大产业。其中全国现代学徒制试点专业4个,中央财政支持专业3个,全国机械行业技能人才培养特色专业3个,山西省高等职业院校品牌专业高职高专品牌专业5个,山西省高等学校特色专业3个,山西省高等职业院校骨干建设专业3个,山西省特色建设专业1个,“十三五”省级重点专业建设项目7个。
    目前学院正在适应经济转型发展,建设智能制造、机电控制、新能源汽车技术、信息技术等4大专业群,进一步适应新型装备制造业和地方经济社会发展对高素质技术技能人才的需要。

人才培养与教学模式

学院围绕立德树人根本任务,坚持产教融合、校企合作,为新型装备制造业和经济社会发展培养高素质技术技能人才。作为“山西省装备制造职业教育集团”牵头单位、山西省机械电子工业联合会职业教育分会会长单位,学院以集团和分会内部300余家企事业单位、科研院所为依托,积极探讨并实施现代学徒制、订单培养、工学交替、基地共建等内涵丰富的工学结合人才培养模式,全面进行“学中做,做中学,学训一体”的教学模式改革。实现了四个融通,即职业教育培养目标与企业培养目标融通、课程与岗位融通、工作与学习融通、职业技能培养与职业精神培育融通。建立了立足山西、辐射沿海、面向全国的毕业生就业基地网络,毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上。

师资队伍与科创能力

学院现有教职工325人,其中:专任教师291人,教授14人,高级专业技术人员70余人,“双师型”教师130余人。有山西省“双师型”教学名师、优秀教师18人,“山西省五一劳动奖章”获得者2人,“三晋技术能手”获得者2人,省高校工委、省教育厅联系的高级专家9人。学院是全国机械职业教育教学指导委员会委员单位,有11名专业带头人担任10个专业教学指导委员会副主任委员或委员。引进和聘请企业能工巧匠担任专兼职教师,建立高技能人才校内专业技术职务评定制度,“双师型”教师达到70%以上。

学院先后获得国家级教学成果二等奖1项,省级教学成果特等奖、一等奖各1项,全国机械行业教学成果一等奖、二等奖各1项;获得专利10项、发表论文100多篇,主持省级课题18项;在全国职业院校技能大赛和中国技能大赛中取得一等奖1项、二等奖4项,三等奖31项;在第六届全国全民健身操舞大赛中获1个项目特等奖和3个项目一等奖;在全国高校思想政治理论课教学活动展示中获一等奖,在山西省中青年教师基本功竞赛中获一等奖。

国际交流与社会服务

学院加强与加拿大、德国、澳大利亚、新西兰、日本、韩国以及台湾等国(境)外优质高校合作,在高端技术技能人才培养、师资队伍建设等方面开展高效务实合作。积极参与职业教育国际标准与规则的研究制定,引进了德国AHK职业资格技术标准、ABB工业机器人及应用初级工程师认证考点等国际先进、成熟适用的职业教育资源,积极申请教育部SGAVE项目,培养具有国际视野的技术技能人才。服务“一带一路”国家战略和国际产能合作,鼓励学生赴海外就业实习,鼓励学生参加国际技能大赛,与积极拓展国际业务的大型企业开展联合培训,与泰国万开职业技术学院共建海外学院(山西机电泰国丝路学院),配合“走出去”企业面向当地员工开展技术技能培训和职业教育。


Profile of Shanxi Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

SIMEE was founded in the year of 1958. At that time, China was a new-born country in urgent need of engineers to work in various field. With this mission, our college was built. At first, it was located in Taiyuan City, the capital of Shanxi Province. In 1973, the college moved to Changzhi City, which is the place where we are now. Many prizes have been awarded to us: National Skilled Talent Training Base of CNC Technology and Automobile Application and MaintenanceModel College of Shanxi ProvinceCivilized Unit of Shanxi ProvinceLabor Award in Shanxi ProvinceSafty Campus in Shanxi ProvinceTop Employment Rate of College Graduates in Shanxi Province.In November 2019, SIMEE was awarded 2019 Top 50 Asia-Pacific Vocational Colleges, and was selected as the national "Double High Plan" construction unit.

Campus environment and infrastructure

The college covers an area of more than 500,000 square meters with a total fixed assets value of 240 million RMB. The value of teaching instruments and equipment is more than 80 million yuan. There are more than 400,000 books in the library. The stadium covers an area of more than 33,000 square meters. The modern campus, which integrates modernization, digitalization and gardening, is like a magnificent picture scroll which transcends the vulgarity and unfolds in front of us. A total of 8,300 students learns in the college.

Departments layout

There are 11 departments including Mechanical Engineering Department, Numerical Control Engineering Department, Electrical Engineering Department, Automobile Engineering Department, Information Engineering Department, Material Engineering Department, Economic and Trade Management Department, Basic Subjects Department, Ideological&Political Department, Sports&Art Department, and Training Department. Now it has 50 majors (including professional direction), such as, CNC technology, machinery manufacturing and automation, etc.

Following the development of equipment manufacturing industry, focusing on the "Internet +", China manufacturing 2025 and meeting the market demand, shaping "intellectualization" feature, and focusing on serving the modern equipment manufacturing industry with manufacturing specialties. It has built up new majors such as Industrial Robotics, Mechatronic Technology of Urban Rail Transit, and New Energy Vehicle Technology. And has formed a pattern of Mechanical-based with electricity penetration, combining both technology and management, together with the existing majors: 3 national machinery industry majors, 5 characteristic majors, five provincial-level brand majors, four provincial-level special majors, nine provincial-level construction majors and three backbone majors of Shanxi higher vocational colleges.

Talent training and teaching mode

The college has brought up the principle of double-subject education, which is based on the needs of industries and enterprises. It has given full play to the principal role of departments and the initiative of teachers to integrate into school-enterprise cooperation, and actively broadened the scope and depth of school-enterprise cooperation in running schools, educating people, employment and development.

In 2017, the College was designated by the Ministry of Education as a modern apprenticeship personnel training pilot unit. In recent years, the College has established a deep cooperative relationship with more than 300 enterprises both inside and outside Shanxi province. On September 28, 2017, Lixun College of Changzhi High-tech Zone established. The College opened a new era of integration of industry and education, cooperation between schools and enterprises, and innovation of training mode for technical and skilled personnel.

Faculty

Through flexible introduction, social training, mutual employment between college and enterprises, and strengthening the teachers' team to cultivate the double-qualified teaching staff. More than 75% teachers are postgraduate or have master’s degree, 80% are double-qualified.

We have provincial famous teachers and excellent double-qualified teachers in Higher Vocational colleges, Shanxi technical experts and Shanxi Female model, as well as the first batch of Huangdanian-style teachers in China. The advanced collective of the national education system have built up the talent pool of the college.

International communication and social services

With the deepening of school-enterprise cooperation, the role of College in serving the society and enterprises is more obvious. We have trained 10,000 personnel every year for society.The college strengthens cooperation with high-quality universities outside Canada, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and conducts efficient cooperation in the training of high-end technical skills and the cultivation of teaching staff. Actively participate in the research and formulation of international standards and rules for vocational education, and introduce international advanced, mature and applicable vocational education resources such as German AHK professional qualification technical standards, ABB industrial robots and applied junior engineer certification test, and actively apply for the SGAVE project of the Ministry of Education. We spare no efforts to cultivate technical skills talents from an international perspective, serve the Belt and Road Initiative national strategy, encourage students to go overseas to work and to participate in international skill competitions, conduct joint training with large enterprises which actively expand their international business worldwide, and build overseas colleges with Wankai Vocational and Technical College of Thailand (SIMEE Silk Road College in Thailand) to provide vocational education for local employees.
